Dove is a stunning Rocky Mountain mule filly, suspected to be chocolate (silver dapple). We are submitting hair samples for color testing, but she looks remarkably similar to her full brother, Ragnar, who matured into a beautiful chocolate mule. Her dam, Freya, was the very first foal born on our ranch and is an absolutely gorgeous silver buckskin Rocky Mountain Horse. Freya is naturally gaited and has the sweetest, puppy-dog personality imaginable. Dove is Freya’s sixth foal and is sired by our exceptional 15hh Mammoth Jack, Judah. From the very beginning, Dove has been curious, brave, and independent. She inherited her dam’s elegant hooked ears and refined, dished face, along with her sire’s impressive, large ears. With Freya standing 15.1hh and Judah at 15hh, we expect Dove to mature to approximately 15hh or taller. Dove is shaping up to be an incredibly friendly, athletic, and eye-catching mule. She has been handled daily since birth and will continue to receive extensive imprinting, socialization, halter training, hoof handling, grooming, and age-appropriate groundwork prior to weaning, giving her an excellent foundation for her future.
We carefully screen all potential buyers to ensure our foals are placed in knowledgeable, committed, lifelong homes. Preference is given to buyers with mule and/or young stock experience who can provide excellent care and training. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit (non-refundable in the event of a change of heart) will hold Dove until she is weaned. The remaining balance is due within 60 days unless other payment arrangements have been made.
